Weather permitting, Route 50 and North Meade Street/North Lynn Street in Rosslyn will experience lane and ramp closures for inspections on January 26 and 27. The Virginia Department of Transportation announced these measures as part of routine checks on the North Meade Street/North Lynn Street bridge over Route 50.
The schedule for the closures is as follows:
- Eastbound Route 50 ramp to North Meade Street/North Lynn Street will be closed from 9 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, to 5 a.m. on Monday, January 27. Traffic will be rerouted via the eastbound Arlington Boulevard service road through North Rhodes Street, North Rolfe Street, and North Queen Street following detour signs.
- Westbound Route 50 right lane will also be closed during this period.
- Both northbound and southbound right lanes on North Meade Street/North Lynn Street will be affected from Sunday night into Monday morning.
On Monday night into Tuesday morning:
- Eastbound Route 50 left lane and westbound Route 50 left lane closures are scheduled from 9 p.m. on January 27 to 5 a.m. on January 28.
- Similarly, both northbound left lane and southbound left lane on North Meade Street/North Lynn Street will face closures during this time frame.
