Thanksgiving Come Early During Our Harvest Fest!

York County Tourism Development recently issued the following announcement.

Visitors will find seasonal fruits and vegetables; fresh seafood; beef, pork, and chicken; farm milk and eggs; homemade breads and baked goods; kettle corn and flavored popcorn; gourmet dog treats; handmade potato chips; and so much more. 

This special market is also packed with fun! From a log-carving demonstration and live animal show to a pie-eating contest and and hay maze, there's something for every age and interest. Here's the full lineup of special events:

  • The Teeny Tiny Farm's Petting Zoo – 9 to 3 | Fountain Area
  • Hay Maze – 9 to 3 – Fountain Area
  • Log-Carving Demonstration – 9 to 3 | Beside Freight Shed
  • Balloon Artist – 9 to 3 | Freight Shed Tent
  • Make-and-Take Kids Craft – 9 to 3 | Freight Shed Tent
  • Photo Cutouts – 9 to 3 | Fountain Area
  • Costumed Interpreters from the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown – 9 to 3 | Beside Riverwalk Landing Stage
  • The Fifes and Drums of York Town Performance – 10 a.m. | Riverwalk Landing
  • Hay Rides – 10 to 3 – Near Market Artists
  • Ralph Motley and the Last Minute Grass – 10 to 3 | Riverwalk Landing Concert Stage
  • Pie-Eating Contest – 12 p.m. | Riverwalk Landing Concert Stage
  • Virginia Living Museum Animal Show – 1 p.m. | Freight Shed
Per the updated Executive Order 72, fully vaccinated individuals are not required to wear a mask at the market. Those individuals who are not vaccinated should continue to wear a mask.

Due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, all 2021 events remain subject to change including dates, times, and locations.
