Ned Ryun, CEO of American Majority, said there is a "government mirage" composed of career bureaucrats, the courts, and the media that Americans mistakenly believe are working in their interest. He made this statement in his documentary "American Leviathan."
"The government mirage that Americans think is working for them, and the career bureaucrats and their allies on Capitol Hill, the courts, and the media who operate the government in the shadows," said Ryun. "We must recognize that there are two competing forms of government in this country that have been in existence for over a hundred years. On one hand, an administrative state, a massive bureaucracy filled with unelected bureaucrats who do the real governing. That has nothing to do with representative government On the other."
In "American Leviathan," Ryun argues there is a growing alliance between government power and major technology corporations. According to Ryun, federal authorities have outsourced censorship and other unconstitutional actions to Big Tech firms. He cites companies such as Google, Amazon, Facebook, and Apple as beneficiaries of government protections—including Section 230 immunity and antitrust leniency—which he claims have allowed them to operate as unchecked monopolies.
A central theme of the documentary is what Ryun describes as "two competing forms of government" in America: the constitutional republic envisioned by the Founders and the modern administrative state, composed of unelected bureaucrats. According to Ryun, this bureaucracy operates in tandem with the courts and the media.
The documentary investigates who truly governs the U.S., with Ryun advocating for an end to the administrative state and a return to representative government. It questions how federal entities like the Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI allegedly targeted a duly elected president by using a fabricated dossier to secure warrants through what he describes as an abuse of federal power.
