The Fredericksburg District has announced a series of traffic alerts for the week of March 16-22, 2025. Various roadworks and maintenance activities are scheduled across several counties, including bridge cleaning, paving work, and fiber installation.

On Interstate 95, mobile lane closures will occur both northbound and southbound from Exit 104 (Carmel Church) to Exit 148 (Quantico). The works include bridge cleaning from Monday to Friday during nighttime hours. Additional single-lane closures are planned for fiber installation between certain exits.

In the City of Fredericksburg, Lafayette Boulevard will experience right lane closures from Monday to Friday. Meanwhile, in Caroline County, alternating lane closures will take place on Route 17 and Route 301 due to paving and bridge cleaning operations.

Essex County will see signal pole installations at the intersection of Route 17/Route 360 and Queen Street with police-directed traffic control. In Gloucester County, paving work is scheduled on various routes including Route 3 and Route 17 Northbound.

King George County will have alternating lane closures for paving work on Routes 3 and 218. King William County will undergo bridge repairs affecting Route 360 Eastbound with night-time lane closures.

Several roads in Lancaster County such as Route 200 (Irvington Road) will face signal foundation work-related single-lane closures. Middlesex County plans similar operations along Stormont Road for paving purposes.

Spotsylvania Parkway's safety improvement project continues with median installations requiring lane closures throughout the week. Additional road improvements related to Kalahari Resorts & Conventions development may cause minor disruptions on Route 1 in Spotsylvania County.
