The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has announced its endorsement of Representative Jen Kiggans for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives. Kiggans, who represents Virginia's 2nd Congressional District, received support from the NFIB, a prominent small business advocacy group.
Julia Hammond, NFIB Virginia State Director, stated that "Representative Jen Kiggans is a champion for small business issues with a 100% NFIB Voting Record." Hammond highlighted Kiggans' consistent alignment with Main Street interests and her co-sponsorship of the Main Street Tax Certainty Act aimed at preserving the 20% Small Business Deduction.
Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director, praised Kiggans as "a true champion of Virginia small business owners in Washington." Sussin emphasized Kiggans' perfect voting record on key issues for NFIB members and her leadership in legislation affecting small businesses. She added, "We know Representative Kiggans will continue to be a champion for Main Street and we are proud to endorse her for re-election today."
The endorsement comes from NFIB FedPAC, the organization's political action committee. The committee operates on voluntary contributions from NFIB members beyond their membership dues and decisions are guided by member-driven grassroots evaluation.
