Shop for turkeys, pecan pies, and cranberry sauce during this Saturday's Harvest Market

York County issued the following announcement on Nov. 17

It’s a pre-Thanksgiving cornucopia of fun! Shop for seasonal treats and unique holiday pieces from local artists.

More than 50 vendors participate in this special November market. Visitors will find seasonal fruits and vegetables; fresh seafood; beef, pork, and chicken; farm milk and eggs; homemade breads and baked goods; kettle corn and flavored popcorn; gourmet dog treats; handmade potato chips; and so much more. 

This special market is also packed with fun! From a log-carving demonstration and balloon artist to a live animal show and and hay maze, there's something for every age and interest. Here's the full lineup of special events:

  • The Teeny Tiny Farm's Petting Zoo – 9 to 3 | Fountain Area
  • Hay Maze – 9 to 3 – Fountain Area

  • Balloon Artist – 9 to 3 | Freight Shed Tent

  • Costumed Interpreters from the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown – 9 to 3 | Beside Riverwalk Landing Stage
  • The Fifes and Drums of York Town Performance – 10 a.m. | Riverwalk Landing
  • Hay Rides – 10 to 3 – Near Market Artists
  • Ralph Motley and the Last Minute Grass – 10 to 3 | Riverwalk Landing Concert Stage
  • Virginia Living Museum Animal Show – 1 p.m. | Freight Shed
Our award-winning farmers market is one of the most unique in Hampton Roads, offering spectacular views of the York River, food trucks, and a wide variety of vendors and artists! Shop for seasonal produce, fresh seafood, meats, breads, handmade soaps and candles, honey, gourmet dog treats, and a beautiful display of work from local artists. Talk to farmers, ranchers, watermen, and food entrepreneurs to learn their techniques for growing, catching, and maintaining the highest quality products to offer you and your family. Yorktown Market Days is held rain or shine every Saturday, now through October 30 (except October 2) at Riverwalk Landing in Historic Yorktown.

Per the updated Executive Order 72, fully vaccinated individuals are not required to wear a mask at the market. Those individuals who are not vaccinated should continue to wear a mask.
