Wythe County Sheriff's Office welcomed their newest deputies

Wythe County Sheriff's Office issued the following announcement on Nov.

Please join us in welcoming our newest deputies to the Wythe County Sheriff's Office.

Deputy Taylor Ramsey is a graduate of Bland County High School, Class of 2019 and a 2021 graduate of Wytheville Community College with an Associates Degree in Administration of Justice and Police Science. Deputy Ramsey will also be graduating the New River Criminal Justice Academy next month.

Deputy Tyler Harrington is a graduate of Marion Senior High School, Class of 2017 and a 2021 graduate of Wytheville Community College  with an Associates Degree of Arts and Science General Studies. Deputy Harrington will be attending the Southwest Virginia Criminal Justice Training Academy in 2022.

Deputy Steven Russo is a graduate of Bland County High School, Class of 2012. Deputy Russo comes to us from Stafford County Sheriff's Office and is a 2019 graduate of the Rappahannock Regional Criminal Justice Academy.

Each of these deputies bring their own set of skills to our team and we at the Wythe County Sheriff's Office are proud to have each of them on board.
