Town of Halifax Farmer's Market on November 20

Halifax County Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Market Days this season are Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  Conveniently located downtown in the Halifax Courthouse Historic District, you'll find locally grown vegetables, fruits, fresh baked goods, eggs, special canned recipes, cut flowers, arts and crafts.  Fresh USDA inspected goat, lamb, pork meat, goat milk soap and custom made pet-goods.

Anyone interested in becoming a vendor can call Denise Barksdale with the Town of Halifax: 434-476-2343 or email townoffice@townofhalifax.com.  Vendor permit applications for the 2017 Season are now available at Halifax Town Hall, 70 South Main Street. The permit fee for the entire season at the Halifax Farmers Market is only $40.00  for the season or $10.00 per Saturday.  Checks should be made payable to the Town of Halifax.  See pictures from last year's opening season.
