Colonial Athletic Association issued the following announcement on Oct. 29
The field for the 2021 Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Field Hockey Championship presented by Primis is set. The championship returns to Fred P. Rullo Stadium for the sixth consecutive season on November 5-7, hosted by the University of Delaware.
James Madison earned the top overall seed after completing its second consecutive undefeated CAA regular season. The host, Delaware, is the second seed and William & Mary is seeded third. Northeastern claimed the fourth and final seed to round out the field.
Top-seeded James Madison will square off with fourth-seeded Northeastern in the first semifinal match at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 5. The second semifinal match will follow at 4 p.m., featuring a rematch of last spring’s semifinal between the second seed, Delaware, and third-seeded William & Mary.

Game 3: Winner Game 1 vs Winner Game 2 – 1 p.m.
