Airport Managers, be ready to get calls regarding data collection
To update the Virginia Air Transportation System Plan (VATSP), a great deal of data is needed from all the system airports. The consultant team, led by Mead & Hunt, will gather as much as possible from readily available sources, but, at some point, the consultant team will need to verify this data with airport managers and sponsors. In some cases, the team will need to solicit data that is not readily available.
Members from the consulting team with Cignus and RS&H will be contacting airport managers and sponsors to request assistance with data gathering via a survey. The consultant team will have the survey filled in as much as practicable, so that airport representatives need only verify or correct the data entered and, in some cases, provide additional data that wasn’t able to be collected from other sources. Any missing data should be provided by the airport manager or sponsor upon request if possible.
Airport managers or sponsors should expect to receive their individual surveys via email in October and are asked to return them in approximately 2 weeks. Specific dates will be noted in the email and on the survey.
