State Sen. Amanda Chase (R-Chesterfield)  has been locked out of her social media accounts since Friday after making posts about the “Stop the Steal” rally.

Chase said she cannot post on her political account on Facebook for 30 days, and she can’t go live or advertise for 60 days. She made a post on her personal Facebook page about the issue.

"Despite attempts by Facebook and the Virginia Democratic Party of Virginia to silence me both as a sitting senator and candidate for governor because of my outspoken support for President Donald J Trump, they will not deter my enthusiasm, commitment or passion to ensure the people of Virginia have a committed representative who they can trust and who will fight for them,” she said in the Facebook statement. “I will never quit or back down.”

Chase said in the statement that Facebook has tried to censor her just as they have done the president and others with conservative values.

Virginia Senator Democrats want Chase to step down from her current position following the Capitol riots, to this, Chase responded saying she was on her way to Richmond when the violence started.

She also responded that this was hypocrisy coming from Democrats who have held violent rallies in the past.

Jan. 6 protests which later became violent riots resulted in five deaths, including that of a police officer.
