Williamsburg home prices rise in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Williamsburg rose by $40,700 while total sales decreased by 28.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were 20 homes sold, with a median sale price of $289,950 - a 16.3% increase over the $249,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in Williamsburg in August 2016.

The median sales tax in Williamsburg for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,674, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for August 2017.
