With $399,806 in issued loans, Virginia ranked ninth for the average amount of a VA home loan in 2022, according to figures provided by the Veteran Affairs Home Loans Index.
The average VA home loan amount in Virginia during the third quarter of the fiscal year 2023 was $437,436, a 8% increase over the previous quarter, according to the Veterans Affairs Home Loans Index.
