Henderson Road in Fairfax Station is scheduled for nighttime closures from April 7 to April 9, as the Virginia Department of Transportation prepares to conduct drainage pipe replacement. The closures will be active from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m., weather permitting. The road section between Route 123 (Ox Road) and Hampton Road (Route 647) will not be accessible for through traffic during these times.
Accommodations have been arranged for individuals needing access to properties along Henderson Road. However, they will not be allowed to proceed beyond the pipe replacement area located just west of Thistledown Trail, near 10510 Henderson Road.
Traffic will be rerouted through a detour consisting of Route 123, Clifton Road (Route 645), and Wolf Run Shoals Road (Route 610) to return to Henderson Road.
