The second half of 2021: Home prices in Poquoson increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Poquoson rose by $4,150 while total sales decreased by 54.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 53 homes sold, with a median sale price of $329,400 - a 1.3% increase over the $325,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 116 homes sold in Poquoson in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Poquoson for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,392, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
