Women Wrestlers Fall at Delaware Valley

Ferrum College Athletics issued the following announcement on Feb. 5

 Ferrum College dropped a women's wrestling match this afternoon on the road to Delaware Valley University, falling 26-8 at James Work Gymnasium.

THE BASICS

Del Val won the two of the first three weights by forfeit,  before senior Katrina Anderson posted a 10-0 technical fall at 130 lbs. over Bridgette Schoultz at the 3:33 mark of the match. Gabby Mendoza earned a 14-4 technical fall at 170 lbs. over Caira Jaynes at  4:21 mark.

A few other teams were on site as well and the Panthers were able to get in a few exhibitions. Mendoza and Ryann Tyree each posted a fall to round out the afternoon.
