The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2017 in Williamsburg rose by $18,500 while total sales decreased by 3.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2017, there were 112 homes sold, with a median sale price of $246,500 – a 8.1% increase over the $228,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 116 homes sold in Williamsburg in the first half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Williamsburg for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,674, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2017.
