The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Williamsburg fell by $17,000 while total sales decreased by 11.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 111 homes sold, with a median sale price of $228,000 – a 6.9% decrease over the $245,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 125 homes sold in Williamsburg in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Williamsburg for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,674, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
