William & Mary women’s golf team achieved its highest finish at the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Championships in a decade, with sophomore Jennifer Osborne becoming the first Tribe player to earn a top-10 spot at the league championships in four years, according to an April 19 announcement. The event took place at The Reserve Club at St. James.

The team’s fifth-place result (955, +91) marks its best performance at the league championships since placing third in 2016. William & Mary posted a final round score of 322 (+34), finishing ten strokes ahead of sixth-place North Carolina A&T. Charleston secured the championship title by two shots over UNCW, while UNCW’s Victoria Levy claimed the individual title with an even-par total of 216.

Osborne finished tied for eighth place after recording a three-round total of 227 (+11), including her second round of 75 (+3) during Sunday’s final round. She made thirteen pars and one birdie that day. Her eighth-place finish and overall score are the program’s best since Sarah Houle finished fourth with a score of 223 (+7) in 2022.

Freshman Reagan Garnsey also contributed by securing her third top-20 result this season, ending up in nineteenth place with a three-round total of 233 (+17). Junior Samantha Skinner recorded her best round on Sunday, shooting a birdie on each side for a score of 79 (+7), and finishing thirtieth overall at +30.

Juniors Katie Suk and Faith Garcia completed William & Mary’s lineup, finishing thirty-fourth and tied for thirty-seventh respectively. Suk posted a cumulative score of +34 while Garcia finished at +40 over three rounds.
