William & Mary baseball will play against George Mason in its last home midweek game of the season on May 5 at Plumeri Park. The game is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.

This matchup is significant as it marks the Tribe’s final opportunity for a midweek home victory this season. Fans are invited to attend, with gates opening 90 minutes before first pitch and multiple parking options available near the stadium.

Recent performances have highlighted several standout players and achievements for William & Mary. Jamie Laskofski hit his first career walk-off home run during a recent extra-inning win over Elon, and Louie Bartletti enters the week with a 17-game on-base streak, posting strong batting statistics since early April. The team also swept N.C. A&T in late April, scoring a total of 42 runs across three games, including their highest conference game run total since 2014.

Matthew Kosuda was named Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Week for his performance at N.C. A&T, where he batted .550 and extended his hitting streak to fifteen games. Pitchers Owen Pierce, Zach Boyd, and Tom Bourque combined for a shutout win against N.C. A&T on April 26—the team’s first since March.

The Tribe has achieved twelve comeback wins this season under second-year head coach Rob McCoy and has set new records in stolen bases both as a team and individually. Other notable accomplishments include Chase Ecker’s perfect record stealing bases this year and Witt Scafidi ranking among top CAA catchers by batting average.

Looking ahead, William & Mary aims to continue its momentum as it closes out the regular season schedule at Plumeri Park.
