William & Mary baseball will play a three-game Colonial Athletic Association series against Elon at Plumeri Park in Williamsburg, with games scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The team announced on April 30 that first pitches are set for 6 p.m. Friday, 3 p.m. Saturday, and 1 p.m. Sunday.

The matchup is important as William & Mary comes off a strong weekend performance where the team scored a total of 42 runs in a sweep over N.C. A&T, out-hitting their opponent by more than double and posting their highest run total in a conference game since 2014. Fans can follow the action via FloCollege or live stats online.

Several promotions are planned during the series: dollar hot dogs and Military Appreciation Day on Friday; postgame autographs with juniors on Saturday (weather permitting); and Star Wars Day festivities with family activities on Sunday.

Recent highlights include infielder Matthew Kosuda being named CAA Rookie of the Week after batting .550 over the previous week and extending his hitting streak to 13 games. Pitchers Owen Pierce, Zach Boyd, and Tom Bourque combined for a shutout last weekend—William & Mary’s first since March—and right-handed pitcher Jack Weight currently leads the team with a 2.77 earned run average after several scoreless outings this month.

The Tribe has demonstrated resilience this season with eleven comeback wins so far under second-year head coach Rob McCoy, including five victories when trailing by three or more runs. The team also broke its single-season program record for stolen bases earlier this month.

As William & Mary prepares to face Elon at home, players such as Jamie Laskofski—who leads in multiple offensive categories—and others look to continue their recent success both offensively and defensively.
