William & Mary Athletics announced on Apr. 27 a series of new fan experiences and upgrades for the upcoming 2026 football season at Zable Stadium.

The enhancements are designed to improve the game day atmosphere and offer fans more opportunities to engage with the team and each other during home games. The athletics department outlined several new features, including expanded pre-game areas, shuttle service, an upgraded Kids Zone, updated video board visuals, and additional premium seating options.

One of the main additions is the Green & Gold Grove near Kaplan Arena, where fans can reserve pre-game spaces for $75 per game, which includes a parking pass. Unreserved grass areas in general parking lots will still be available on a first-come basis at no extra cost. For transportation convenience, two dedicated shuttles will run between Kaplan Arena’s main lot and Zable Stadium before kickoff and after games.

Families attending with children can visit the returning Kids Zone next to the North Endzone flagpole during all six home games. The area will feature free face painting, balloon art, lawn games such as ladder ball and giant Jenga, poster pickups for the 2026 season, autograph sessions with Olympic sports athletes from William & Mary, and appearances by Reveley the Griffin.

Fans will also notice changes to Zable Stadium’s video board layout this year. According to William & Mary Athletics’ announcement, “fans will experience an exciting new look for the video board format with redesigned visuals that bring the action closer than ever.” The refreshed display aims to enhance both sponsor visibility and live coverage of in-game moments.

Additional paid experiences include sitting in the broadcast booth for a quarter ($500), purchasing videoboard messages ($50), joining a High Five Tunnel ($25 per participant), or getting pregame sideline passes ($50). Premium hospitality spaces have also been expanded: The Touchdown Club now accommodates up to 300 guests while a new North Endzone Hospitality space offers private seating with catering by 1693 Catering and access to field-level views as well as televised sporting events from around the country.

Ticketing has also been streamlined through a partnership with SeatGeek. Fans can list tickets they cannot use directly through their online account so seats remain filled by other Tribe supporters throughout the season.
