The City of Fredericksburg will witness roadworks on Route 1 Southbound with right lane closures due to intersection improvement projects. Gloucester County’s Route 17 is undergoing mobile work to apply pavement markings, leading to continuous lane closures.

King William County’s Eltham Bridge over the Pamunkey River will have alternating lane closures as part of ongoing maintenance. In King and Queen County, bridge repairs are set on Route 360 at the county line.

Additional projects across the Fredericksburg District include a bridge replacement on Route 638 in Caroline County and intersection improvements in Fredericksburg City. Gloucester County is focusing on safety improvements at the Route 17 and Woods Cross Road intersection.
