Thank you for choosing Sentara CarePlex Hospital for your spine surgery!

We are offering virtual preoperative classes throughout 2022. During our class we will review how to prepare for surgery, what to expect while at the hospital, and how to care for yourself at home following surgery.

You will receive a Sentara Spine Center Patient and Family Guidebook from your surgeon’s office during your Pre-Op visit. Your guidebook contains the information that is the basis for our classes. Please review this and have it during classes and surgery. This book is yours to keep. Feel free to take notes and write questions in it.
