The Virginia Tech Hokies women’s softball team arrived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on May 13 to compete in the NCAA Regional tournament. The team is set to participate as the No. 2 seed in the Baton Rouge Regional, which is hosted by Louisiana State University.

This marks a significant milestone for Virginia Tech, as it is their seventh consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament, setting a new program record. The team’s consistent performance throughout the season has led them to this achievement.

Virginia Tech holds a record of 46 wins and 10 losses overall, with an 18-6 standing in their conference play. Their advancement reflects ongoing success and stability within the program.
