Virginia Tech Athletics announced on Apr. 30 that all Sideline Club, Maroon & Orange Indoor Clubs, Zone Club, and Touchdown Terrace tickets for the 2026 football season are sold out. This marks the earliest premium seating sellout in the program’s history.

The announcement reflects a high level of interest surrounding head coach James Franklin’s arrival and increased anticipation for the upcoming season. Zane Gregory, Director of Ticket Sales, said, “The sellout of our club spaces this early in the calendar reflects the incredible passion and loyalty of Hokie Nation. We are grateful for the overwhelming support and can’t wait to welcome everyone back to Lane Stadium this fall.”

Athletics officials said that becoming a football season ticket holder and Hokie Scholarship Fund donor is now the best way to secure priority access to future premium seating opportunities. Priority is determined by a donor’s ranking within the Hokie Scholarship Fund.

For those looking ahead, Drive Year 2027 will be a full re-seating year for Lane Stadium, football parking areas, and Cassell Coliseum. Donors are encouraged to select their preferred membership level before seat selection dates are announced in March 2027.

Although current premium club spaces have sold out, fans interested in Lane Lounge—featuring complimentary food and beverages as well as exclusive VIP amenities—can participate in an exclusive presale on May 12 if they purchased last year’s passes; public sales begin May 13. Passes remain limited.

Additionally, Sandman Suites at field level offer private suite experiences during games with remaining availability handled through direct contact with Virginia Tech’s premium seating team.

A variety of other ticket options will become available soon: presales begin May 5 for current donors; digital subscriber presales start May 6 via the HokieSports app; general public sales open May 7 for several ticket packages; and location-selected season tickets go on sale May 14.
