Route 683 (Wilson Drive) in Brunswick County is closed between Route 670 (Western Mill Road) and Route 674 (Greentown Drive) as the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) undertakes a pipe replacement project. The closure began recently, and work is scheduled to be completed by Tuesday, September 30.

During the construction period, motorists are directed to use alternate routes. For eastbound traffic, drivers should follow Route 670 (Western Mill Road), then Route 611 (Dry Bread Road), continue onto Route 674 (Greentown Drive), and return to Wilson Drive. Westbound traffic is advised to take Route 674 (Greentown Drive), then Route 611 (Dry Bread Road), proceed to Route 670 (Western Mill Road), and rejoin Wilson Drive.

VDOT encourages anyone with questions about the project to contact their customer service center at 800-FOR-ROAD (800-367-7623).
