Weather permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will commence nightly alternating double-lane and ramp closures on Route 73 (E. Parham Road) over Interstate 95 southbound for bridge repairs. The work is scheduled to begin on Sunday, March 16, and continue through Friday, March 21, between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Motorists are advised to follow a designated detour during this period. Southbound traffic should take Route 73 (E. Parham Road) westbound to Route 1 (Brook Road) northbound, then proceed via the I-295 South/I-95 ramp to reach I-95 southbound ramp 43B.

For further inquiries about the project, individuals can contact VDOT’s customer service center at “800-FOR-ROAD (800-367-7623).”
