The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has announced that, subject to weather conditions, it will close the inside left lanes of Route 460, also known as East Colonial Trail Highway, in both directions between Route 360 (Patrick Henry Highway) and Crepe Myrtle Road in Nottoway County. This is part of the ongoing intersection safety improvement project.

The lane closures are set to begin on Monday, April 28, and will remain in place until the completion of the work. VDOT has implemented message boards along the route to inform motorists about the construction and impending lane closures. Drivers are advised to adhere to the signage and devices directing them through the work zone.

Further details can be accessed through the project page. For inquiries, VDOT’s customer service center is available at 800-FOR-ROAD (800-367-7623). Additionally, updated traffic information can be found on 511Virginia at 511.vdot.virginia.gov and the free 511Virginia mobile app.
