In singles, VCU players won three straight-set matches to clinch the sweep. The first singles victory came from Court 4 with a commanding run of nine straight games after an initial tie, ending in a 6-3, 6-0 result. Another straight-set win followed on Court 6 (6-2, 6-4), marking her third consecutive such victory this season. The match was sealed on Court 1 as VCU’s player recorded her fourth straight win with matching set scores of 6-2.

Singles matches that were unfinished included close contests on Courts 2, 3, and 5 when play concluded due to VCU reaching four points.
