In Caroline County, motorists on Route 17 between Route 301 and Hazelwood Lane, and Route 301 between the Mattaponi River Bridge and O’Brien Court will encounter alternating traffic from Monday to Friday due to pavement marking operations.

The City of Fredericksburg will have right lane closures on Lafayette Boulevard from Monday to Friday, while in Essex County, Route 618 (Scotts Mill Road) will undergo road resurfacing from Monday to Thursday.

Multiple subdivisions across these counties will undergo road resurfacing, and flagging crews will manage one-way, alternating traffic.

“Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m.-noon. Road resurfacing near Route 610 (Garrisonville Road). A flagging crew will direct one-way, alternating traffic through the work zone,” stated the alert for Stafford County’s various roadways.
