Mobile lane closures are scheduled to take place on Interstate 95 Northbound and Southbound at Garrisonville Road, from Monday to Friday, between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. These closures are for mobile pavement marking.
Additionally, on Interstate 95 Northbound at Ladysmith Road, there will be alternating lane closures from Sunday to Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Meanwhile, on Interstate 95 Southbound from Courthouse Road to Falmouth/Warrenton, single lane closures will occur from Monday to Friday during the same evening hours. The Spotsylvania off-ramp is also affected, with alternating lane closures scheduled every day between 7 p.m. and 10 a.m.
In Caroline County, Route 17 and Route 301 will have one-way, alternating traffic managed by a flagging crew from Monday to Friday, due to road resurfacing and pavement marking activities.
In the City of Fredericksburg, scheduled closures and traffic directions are in place on Bridgewater Street, Fall Hill Avenue, and Lafayette Boulevard to accommodate ongoing road maintenance and enhancements. Additional work includes a bicycle and pedestrian connector project on Lafayette Boulevard, due to be completed by November 2025.
In Gloucester County, a project to improve safety at the Route 17 and Woods Cross Road intersection is ongoing, with an expected completion by December 16, 2025. Large-scale bridge rehabilitation is also underway on Route 3/14 westbound, set for completion in November 2025.
