Superintendent Aaron Spence thanked the Board of Supervisors for approving the Fiscal Year 2027 Operating Budget in a letter released on April 9. The approval reflects what Spence described as a shared commitment to ensuring that every student has access to opportunities, support, and resources needed to thrive.
The operating budget is an important part of how Loudoun County Public Schools supports its students and staff. With this funding, the school system aims to continue providing educational programs and services for all students.
Spence also reminded parents of rising seventh and twelfth grade students about immunization requirements. He encouraged families to schedule their children’s immunization appointments early and submit the necessary documentation in advance.
Additionally, this week’s LCPS Podcast features student leaders from John Champe High School. These students share their perspectives on what makes their school a welcoming environment.
Looking ahead, Loudoun County Public Schools will continue focusing on student well-being and community engagement as it implements the newly approved budget.
