Williamsburg home prices rise in the second quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2020 in Williamsburg rose by $29,300 while total sales increased by 4.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2020, there were 73 homes sold, with a median sale price of $270,000 - a 12.2% increase over the $240,700 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 70 homes sold in Williamsburg in the second quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Williamsburg for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,674, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2020.
