Williamsburg home prices rise in 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in 2019 in Williamsburg rose by $8,255 while total sales increased by 9.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2019, there were 246 homes sold, with a median sale price of $252,000 - a 3.4% increase over the $243,745 median sale price for the previous year. There were 225 homes sold in Williamsburg in 2018.

The median sales tax in Williamsburg for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,674, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for 2019.
