Smithfield Road (Route 746) between Petterson Lane and Sinclair Lane (Route 747) will be closed on Monday, Nov. 17, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 9 a.m. to noon. Doves Lane (Route 650) between Shawnee Lane (Route 793) and Bradley Forest Road (Route 752) will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and again on Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Residents who need access to properties along Smithfield Road and Doves Lane will still be able to reach their destinations; however, drivers will not be allowed beyond the work sites in either direction. The work site on Smithfield Road is located next to the property at 11913 Smithfield Road, while the Doves Lane work site is situated between Shawnee Lane and the parking lot for Doves Landing Park.

For Doves Lane closures, drivers should follow detour signs using Smithfield Road, Coopers Lane, and Bradley Forest Road back to Doves Lane.
