Weather permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close Route 607 (West Creek Road) between Route 615 (Namazine Road) and Route 614 (Dennisville Road) in Amelia County for a pipe replacement project. The work is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, July 22, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Homeowners will maintain access to their property throughout the operation.

Motorists should use the following detour:

Northbound Traffic: Travel south on Route 607 (West Creek Road), east on Route 615 (Namazine Road), north on Route 614 (Dennisville Road), south on Route 607 (West Creek Road).

Southbound Traffic: Travel north on Route 607 (West Creek Road), south on Route 614 (Dennisville Road), west on Route 615 (Namazine Road), north on Route 607 (West Creek Road).
