Section of Graymoss Road in Chesterfield County to close for pipe replacement

A section of Route 3029 (Graymoss Road) in Chesterfield County will be closed for a pipe replacement project, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). The closure is scheduled for Tuesday, September 23, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., weather permitting.

The affected stretch lies between Route 3028 (Gateline Drive) and Route 3024 (Turngate Road). VDOT stated that homeowners will still be able to access their properties during the work.

Motorists are advised to use the posted detour routes. For eastbound traffic, drivers should travel north on Route 3028 (Gateline Drive), then west on Route 3025 (Irongate Drive), and south on Route 3024 (Turngate Road) back to Graymoss Road. Westbound travelers should go north on Route 3024 (Turngate Road), east on Route 3025 (Irongate Drive), and south on Route 3028 (Gateline Drive) back to Graymoss Road.
