Weather permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close a section of Route 8569 (Garnett Lane) in Chesterfield County for paving operations. The closure will occur between Route 701 (LeGordon Drive) and Route 950 (Charter Colony Parkway) from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 4.
Homeowners will still have access to their properties during this time.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour routes:
Eastbound traffic should take a right on Route 707 (LeGordon Drive), then a right on Route 7855 (Martinet Crossing), and finally a right on Route 950 (Charter Colony Parkway).
Westbound traffic should take a left on Route 950 (Charter Colony Parkway), then a left on Route 7855 (Martinet Crossing), and finally a left on Route 707 (LeGordon Drive).
