The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close the southbound lane of Route 694 (Ira Hoffman Lane) at the intersection with Clark Meadow Lane in Culpeper County on Monday, November 24. The closure is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to allow crews to repair a section of pavement.

While repairs are underway, traffic will be directed by flaggers, allowing alternating one-way travel through the northbound lane in the work zone.

“Drivers should use caution near the work area and watch for crews and equipment close to the roadway. All work is weather permitting,” VDOT stated.

Local updates about conditions in VDOT’s Culpeper District can be found on their X account and Facebook group page.

Travelers can access real-time traffic information, view statewide traffic cameras, and get other travel updates through the 511 Virginia website, by using the free VDOT 511 mobile app, or by calling 511 from any phone within Virginia.
