Route 664 in Albemarle County will be closed to through traffic for pipe replacement work. The closure will occur between Route 671 (Davis Shop Road) and Route 857 (Lost Valley Road) from 7 a.m. on Friday, June 13, until 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, weather permitting. Access to driveway entrances will be maintained for local traffic.

During the closure, northbound traffic on Route 664 is advised to turn left onto Route 671 (Davis Shop Road), then right onto Route 601 (Free Union Road), followed by a right onto Route 810 (Boonesville Road), and finally a right onto Route 628 (Simmons Gap Road), which leads back to Route 664. Southbound drivers should follow this detour in reverse order. Message boards will alert drivers about the closure and detour.
