Due to a recent storm on the night of June 16 into the morning of June 17, Route 606 (Caldwell Mountain Road) in Craig County has been closed. The closure is caused by a pipe washout and is situated between Calvary Retreat Road and Bobcat Lane, near Hebron Church and Camp Easterseals.

The road will remain closed for approximately two to three weeks or until the pipe is replaced and repairs are completed, depending on weather conditions. Motorists will find detour signs directing them around the closure. Residents living along the road can still access their homes from either side of the closure.
