Route 301 in King George County was closed in both directions following a multi-vehicle crash near Ivy Hill Loop, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. Both northbound and southbound lanes were affected, with traffic being detoured onto Ivy Hill Loop before returning to Route 301.

At 8:50 p.m., officials reported that the northbound lane had reopened while the southbound lane remained closed. Traffic was alternating directions in the northbound lanes at that time.

By 9:29 p.m., authorities confirmed that both northbound and southbound lanes had reopened and the scene was clear.

There was no initial estimate provided for when the road would reopen.
