Route 3 in Lancaster County is currently closed near the intersection with Old Orchard Drive in the Lively area due to a vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer. Traffic on Route 3 is being detoured onto White Chapel Road and Courthouse Road.

The Virginia Department of Transportation has advised that updates regarding the status of Route 3 will be available through its traveler information service, 511Virginia.
