The Virginia Department of Transportation has announced that the southbound Route 28 ramp to eastbound Westfields Boulevard in Chantilly will be closed overnight on May 11. This closure, scheduled from 9 p.m. Sunday to 4 a.m. Monday, is for light pole replacement, weather permitting.
During this period, traffic will be rerouted through the southbound Route 28 ramp to westbound Westfields Boulevard, then via Stonecroft Boulevard/Poplar Tree Road, Newbrook Drive, and Park Meadow Drive back to eastbound Westfields Boulevard. Alternatively, drivers can make a U-turn from westbound to eastbound Westfields Boulevard at the Stonecroft Boulevard intersection.
