The Virginia Department of Transportation has announced that there will be daytime single-lane closures on Route 28 (Centreville Road) at the Fairfax County and Prince William County line. The closures are scheduled from Monday, March 31 through Thursday, April 24, weather permitting. These measures are necessary for repairs to the bridge over Bull Run.

The specific closure schedule is as follows: the southbound right lane of Route 28 will be closed from Monday, March 31 through Thursday, April 3 and again from Monday, April 7 through Thursday, April 10 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day. The northbound right lane will be closed from Monday, April 14 through Thursday, April 17 and again from Monday, April 21 through Thursday, April 24 between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Drivers should anticipate delays and consider using alternative routes during these times.
