Northbound traffic is detoured to South Gateway Drive, Plantation Drive, and Litchfield Boulevard, while southbound traffic follows a detour through Poplar Road, Truslow Road, and Plantation Drive.
The Virginia Department of Transportation has confirmed that their area headquarters crews are on their way to establish a detour. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes where possible.
