Richmond women’s track and field places third in distance medley relay at Penn Relays

The University of Richmond women’s track and field team competed at the Penn Relays, placing third in the distance medley relay, according to an April 25 announcement.

The meet is significant for the Richmond team as it showcases their performance against other collegiate programs. The distance medley relay team, consisting of Brooke Reif (3:23.76), Morgan Elliott (56.92), Caroline Donohoe (2:07.13), and Hallie Muniz (4:42.51), finished with a time of 11:10.30 to secure third place.

In addition to the distance medley relay, Richmond’s 4×800-meter relay squad finished eighth with a time of 8:56.52. Team members Molly Flanagan (2:11.55), Ashley Bolesh (2:16.33), Mia Paolino (2:15.73), and Phoebe Rubio (2:12.92) contributed to this result.

In individual events, Molly Wise placed ninth in the long jump with a mark of 5.69 meters, while Sydney Phillips recorded a mark of 11.59 meters.

Looking ahead, Richmond will compete next at the Atlantic 10 Championships scheduled for May 2-3 in Fairfax, Virginia.
