The Atlantic 10 Conference announced on Apr. 29 that the Richmond Spiders women’s lacrosse team received three major postseason awards and placed seven student-athletes on All-Atlantic 10 teams.

These honors highlight the team’s strong performance during the season, recognizing both individual and collective achievements across offense, defense, and coaching.

Alexis Morton was named Offensive Player of the Year, Abby Francioli earned Goalkeeper of the Year, and Anne Harrington was selected as Coach of the Year. Morton leads Richmond in scoring with an average of six points per game and topped the league in this category. She recorded a total of 96 points from 56 goals and 40 assists through the regular season. Morton also led conference play with an average of over four goals per game.

Francioli anchored a defense that allowed just over eight goals per game. She holds a .483 save percentage, averages more than six saves per match, has tallied thirteen wins this season, and matched her season high with ten saves in key victories against Virginia and South Florida.

Harrington guided Richmond to a 13-3 overall record during regular season play and a perfect conference record at nine wins without loss. This achievement secured Richmond’s first outright regular-season championship since its program began in 1983. The team ranks among national leaders in scoring margin, offense efficiency, draw control percentage, shot percentage, and winning percentage under Harrington’s leadership.

Other honorees include CC Jacobs (First Team), Bridget Lonsinger (Second Team), Emma Kroneberger (Second Team), Rileigh Meyer (Second Team/All-Academic), Reagan Quinn (Second Team), Mia Valerio (Second Team), and Grace Hallahan (All-Rookie). Each contributed significantly to both offensive output or defensive strength throughout their respective roles.
