Drivers in the Richmond area are being advised of potential delays due to road construction scheduled from November 8 to 14, 2025. The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has released a weekly traffic alert detailing projects that may impact travel during this period.

For up-to-date information on traffic and ongoing road work, motorists are encouraged to use the 511Virginia system. This service provides real-time updates through its website at https://511.vdot.virginia.gov/ and a free mobile app. Drivers can also receive personalized alerts and access live traffic cameras via the platform.
